About Ms. Kristi Ikemire

Ms. Kristi Ikemire graduated from the University of Illinois in 2002 with a degree in graphic design. Soon after, she began to quickly ascend the ladder in the design industry while working for the television industry. Kristi was honored as the silver recipient of the Broadcast Designer’s Association Award in 2006. She currently works for CBS 2 Chicago, and is also the owner of her own company, KMI-Design.

Prior to working with CBS, Kristi also worked with the WGN 9 CW network of Chicago. She worked as a Motion Graphics Designer, where she designed graphics for contest and promotional spots such as “Southwest Airlines’ “How Far Did It Fly” that appears during Chicago Cubs games. She also designed opens, lower thirds and other animating elements for programming specials such as Chicago’s “St. Patrick’s Day Parade” and “Signsation’s Humanitarian Awards”.

KMI Design is Ms. Ikemire’s personal business, which she started in 2007. Her company focuses on adding a contemporary twist to old-fashioned slideshows.  They create first-rate video slide shows for their clients, unlike anything that they have been used to before. Like a normal slideshow, customers give them any and all material they wish to have incorporated in their piece, and allow Kristi to use her talent to craft a creative and truly unique product. Ms. Ikemire also works with her clients directly to make sure that they receive only the best slideshow for their special occasion.

Although KMI’s focus is making video slideshows, they also create personalized wedding websites for partners to send to family and friends presenting their photos, videos, or anything else they wish to share.
